Homeland Security and Technology Minister Ali Ihsan issued a compelling call to the public today, urging citizens to remain vigilant and report any individuals still harboring religious extremism and displaying inclinations towards participating in war zones. Speaking to the media, Minister Ihsan addressed the pressing issue of individuals within society holding extremist ideologies and adopting jihadist attitudes.

Minister Ihsan provided insights into the ongoing efforts undertaken by the government to combat extremism and prevent citizens from joining conflict zones. He highlighted the existence of individuals contemplating involvement in such areas and stressed the importance of understanding the challenges faced by families affected by such decisions.

“There are still people who are thinking of going to those areas. The fact is that such families have to understand the plight of their husbands, their wives, and their children,” Minister Ihsan remarked during the media briefing.

Emphasizing the role of community members in maintaining national security, Minister Ihsan urged the public to actively contribute to identifying and reporting individuals with jihadist mentalities. He appealed, “I would like to ask you to report these people before they leave the country. If you know anyone who has such an idea, please report it.”
